Description / Background

This war memorial is a simple timber honour roll for the Vietnam War. It has an overall rectangular shape, with a curved pediment at the top that adds visual interest. The board is framed with moulded edging, made of the same dark timber.

The names of six veterans from the Valla area who served in the war are printed neartly in gold the centre of the board. The names are not in alphabetical order.

The roll is located in the Valla Public Hall. Access to it is restricted to the opening hours of the hall.
