Each name is on a small plaque nailed to the main bronze board. The memorial is located inside the Wanaaring and District Soldiers Memorial Hall. It is housed in a glass-fronted cabinet, set into the wall opposite to the main entrance of the hall. The memorial is accompanied by items of military memorabilia that represent the conflict, and a plaque in memory of the Korean War. Around the late 1980s, Bob Morton, the then-publican of Wanaaring, had the honour roll refurbished.
