Description

Attached to the front of the cement block memorial you will find a bronze plaque with the words “Lest We Forget”. On the reverse side of the memorial a second bronze plaque states “Lest We Forget, we who are left have erected this monument as a memorial to commemorate those who fought for a cause and gave their lives for it.”

The memorial is dedicated to all service personnel in all conflicts.

Between the well kept gardens and behind the memorial there stands a six metre flag pole. The Australian flag is raised and lowered every day.

Aminya residents, visitors and staff can commemorate all the significant days of the calendar without being forced to leave their complex.
