Attached to the wall adjacent to the church entrance you find the honour roll hanging between the Australian and the British flags. The stained wooden honour board lists 15 veterans from the local area who attended the church. The memorial board with its gold lettering and wooden scrolls on either side of the veterans' names is 600mm wide and 900mm high.
The foundation stone for the Presbyterian Church in Castle Hill was unveiled on 2 September 1939 by Reverend G M Scott Home Missions Superintendent, 1936-1939. The new modern St Columba’s Presbyterian Church Castle Hill was opened on 6 March 1976 and the memorial boards were transferred from the old Presbyterian Church.
