It is a paved area, which features two key elements. A 'Remembrance Wall' is located at the back of the area and contains eight plaques, listing the names of conflicts in which Australia has been involved. In front of the wall is a sawn sandstone block, approximately one metre high. Attached to its front face is a bronze plaque dedicated to those who have served. The area also includes seating and two flagpoles, which are surrounded by gardens that include rosemary shrubs. Set within the gardens are eight plaques on low plinths that include short descriptions to educate the children on topics related to commemorating Australia's military service. Access to the memorial is restricted as it is within the school grounds.
