Description / Background

The monument is located in the grounds of Christ Church Anglican Church in Brewarrina. It is a grey granite Celtic cross, mounted on a stepped pedestal of the same stone. The memorial stands on a natural cement-rendered stepped base. The dedication and names are inscribed on the first step of the pedestal, below the cross. The original gold lettering has weathered away.

Inscription

To the glory of God and in grateful memory of the following who died in the Great War 1914-1919
