Earlwood Bardwell Park RSL War Memorial

Description

This memorial consists of a black obelisk mounted on a two-tiered base. 'Lest we forget' is inscribed on the base and on the paving in front of the memorial.

Plaque 1:

This memorial garden is dedicated to the memory of departed comrades of World War I. 1914-1918, World War 2. 1939 - 1945, Korea, Malaya and Vietnam. Officially opened by Sir William Yeo, C.B.E. 3rd March 1968.

Plaque 2:

The act of dedication was conducted by Rev. K. Baker Church of England Rev. Fr. T. Murphy Catholic Brig. P. Stockall Salvation Army. 3rd March 1968.
