Description / Background

Following the First World War, various towns throughout Australia were allotted a German war trophy. This Krupp Field Gun was gifted to Australia by the French Government, and then transferred to Emmaville on 28 June 1922. It is located in the small park opposite the Emmaville War Memorial.
