Description / Background

The hall was built in 1954-1955 and opened by Sir Michael Bruxner on 25 March 1955.

Inside the hall is a wooden honour board lists all servicemen and women that served at home and overseas on active service in the First and Second World Wars and Korea. The roll was erected in 2005. There is also a small plaque listing the servicemen from Stannum who answered the call for the Second World War.
