Description / Background

A carved wooden Honour Roll board, with a brass sheet attached. It lists 40 Chief Mechanical Engineers (CME) Office employees names who served in the First World War engraved in black in four columns. 

It was produced by Eveleigh Carriageworks staff, and after the Eveleigh CME building was closed in 1996, the Honour Roll was placed in storage and eventually went to the Igloo store.

It now forms part of the State Movable Collection managed by Transport Heritage NSW (THNSW).
