Description / Background

A fine Honour Roll board, with 24 Survey Branch railways employees names who served in the First World War written on paper in ink, and mounted in a wooden picture frame behind a glass pane. It was richly decorated with painted Union Jack and wreaths above and flowers below.

It was produced by Survey Branch staff, and after the closure of Transport House in 2000, it was placed in storage and eventually went to the Igloo store. It now forms part of the State Movable Collection managed by Transport Heritage NSW (THNSW).
