Large and ornate white marble obelisk, with red inset marble columns and lead lettering. The memorial is mounted off the road, on a landing of a staircase in front of the Gundagai Court House.

Inscription

In memory of the Gundagai Soldiers who fell in the South African war1899 - 1900 - 1901.

Erected by the people of the district.
