Eastlakes Sports Club War Memorial Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The memorial is a rectangular piece of black granite , 77cm high by 65cm wide. It is set on a concrete plinth at a 10 degree angle away from the perpendicular. Attached to the front face is a bronze plaque, 20cm high by 30cm wide, and three bronze service emblems in bas relief. Each emblem measures 20cm by 17cm. The memorial is located at Eastlakes Sports Club, at the eastern end of bowling green no 1. It is positioned under three flagpoles, in a garden area with trees shielding the area from traffic noise.
