Description / Background

A concrete path with a number of stone columns bearing brass plaques inscribed with information about conflicts in which Australia has been involved and the branches of service. There are also individual bricks inscribed with veterans' names. The walkway winds through Picton RSL Park surrounding the War Memorial.

This memorial walkway and entrance of honour were commissioned by the Picton Anzac Day Comittee with support from Woolondilly Shire Council and generous donations from Xstrata Coal, Bargo RSL and local businesses.  

Dedicated as a daily reminder to honour all who who have served this country in times of conflict.

Officially opened on 31st March 2012  by Mr Michael O'Connor a Returned Serviceman.
