Description / Background

A clock tower with a sandstone exterior, located on a grassed round-about with a nearby flagpole. Glazed marble tablets inset into the faces of the tower are inscribed with the names of those who fell in conflicts and peace keeping missions in which Australia has been involved. There are also several dedication tablets on the memorial, as well as a foundation stone laid on 26 September 1924.
