Railway Remembrance Wall, Central Station, New Loco, Honour Roll 1914 - 1919



Part of the Railway Remembrance Wall.

A polished wooden board with a little motif and the words Lest We Forget across the top.

Names are in gilt behind a glass pane.

Additional information by Sydney Trains:

A carved wooden Honour Roll board, with 31 Locoworks New Loco railways employees names who served in WWI written in gilt, encased behind a glass pane.

It was decorated with tiny Allied flags and the words 'Lest We Forget' above.

It was produced by New Loco staff, and was relocated after its closure in 1990, and fixed to the western Railway Remembrance Wall at Central Station.

Note all the names are also listed on the Eveleigh Locoworks Consolidated Honour Roll WWI.
