An obelisk in a parkland setting, topped with a stone cannon. The sandstone obelisk was originally erected after World War 1. The obelisk has been restored to include names of men from the surrounding District who have died in all wars. The metal plaques do not cover all of the original names engraved in the sandstone from WWI.
The park is named in memory of one of the World War 2 veterans listed on the memorial.
NOTE on Deceased Veterans - This memorial gives all deceased veterans the status of Killed in Action. The codes given below have been taken from information in the Australian War Memorials' Roll of Honour. The Roll of Honour also lists a Hugh Roberts of Glenorie as Killed in Action during World War 1
