Description / Background

A sandstone slab affixed to a concrete base, with an arch of stones from Anzac Cove mounted on the surface. Next to this is a granite slab with a bronze wreath and a flagpole with the Australian flag. The whole is surrounded by box hedging. Located in close proximity to the Roseville War Memorial.

Plaque 1

These stones are from Anzac Cove, Gallipoli. May they stand as a tangible memorial to those who served. Lest we forget. Unveiled Anzac Day Sunday April 2005. 

Plaque 2

Roseville Sub-Branch of the RSL acknowledges with thanks the financial contribution made by the Department of Veterans Affairs through the office of our local Federal Member Dr Brendan Nelson towards the cost of this memorial April 2005.

Plaque 3

The base of this memorial was kindly donated by Ku-Ring-Gai Council led by Councillor Adrienne Ryan, Mayor - April 2005.
