A commemorative planting of Hills Weeping Figs with a plaque in Rotary Park (Tonbridge Reserve), Ramsgate Beach. The trees run parallel to Chuter Avenue and Ramsgate Road.

Australia remembers 1945-1995

This memorial of Hills Weeping Fig (Ficus microcarpa var. Hillii) was planted to recognise the contribution made by the men and women of the city of Rockdale during World War II. Dedicated 15 June 1997. Councillor Peter Bryant - Mayor. Lest we forget.
