Description / Background

The Smithtown Honour Roll was dedicated on 9 May 1919 by Arch Deacon E.C. Knox of the Holy Trinity Church, Lower Macleay. The Roll was made by John Roberts Garland, undertaker and furniture maker with lettering by Charles Huxley, painter, both of Kempsey. It lists 29 names of those who served in the First World War.
