2020 marks 75 years since the end of the Second World War. To commemorate this important year, the NSW Government interviewed WWII veterans about their experiences. Read our 75th Anniversary Stories.
The lychgate contains eight marble panels, four on each side, mounted under the gables inside the gate. The inscription reads left to right across each set of four. The names of those who served are engraved on the panels and highlighted in black.
There is also an engraved sandstone block on the right hand side at the entrance of the gate.
