2020 marks 75 years since the end of the Second World War. To commemorate this important year, the NSW Government is interviewing WWII veterans about their experiences. Read our 75th Anniversary Stories.
This timber Honour Roll commemorates those from the Rawdon Island District who served in the First World War. Rawdon Island Public School opened in October 1876 and closed in May 1976. The names are divided into 'school' and 'district'. The Port Macquarie News on 22 October 1919 advertised the Roll was to be unveiled on Friday 17 October 1919.
The Roll is in storage with the Wauchope Historical Society.
