Description / Background

The memorial consists of three steel-framed, glass-covered panels, positioned on top of a curved, sandstone platform. From left to right, the north sides of the panels are decorated with the badges of the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army, and Royal Australian Air Force, in their respective colours. Under the badges are the words 'Lest We Forget.' On the south side of the panels, the tri-service badge is displayed with the colours of the Navy, Army, and Air Force.

The memorial is flanked by two flagpoles. Two sandstone plinths, each with a steel plaque attached, are positioned approximately 2 metres from the east and west sides of the memorial. The plinths are 1 metre in height. The plaques are inscribed with the meaning of the memorial and the names of the contributors to its construction.

The memorial is located on the north side of Woonona Bulli RSL Club. Also on site is the Woonona Bulli RSL War Memorial.
