Fourteen casualties of the First World War are buried in the Third Quarantine Cemetery, North Head, Manly. Their graves are no longer able to be identified.

These casualties have been officially commemorated by the Office of Australian War Graves in the NSW Garden of Remembrance, at the Rookwood Necropolis, Sydney.
THE THIRD QUARANTINE STATION CEMETERY, NORTH HEAD
This is the third and final cemetery used at the North Head Quarantine Station. It opened in 1881, for the burial of victims of Sydney's smallpox epidemic.
From 1881 to 1925 there were approximately 241 people buried here, nearly all of them victims of infectious diseases. These people included Sydney residents, immigrants, travellers, ships crews, returning servicemen and quarantine staff.
This monument commemorates 14 casualties of the First World War who are buried in this cemetery.
