The memorial is a large rectangular roll of honour, dedicated to the servicemen of Barraba and surrounding district who lost their lives in the Second World War. The names of 32 veterans are painted in gold on the stained timber board and arranged in alphabetical order in three columns.

The memorial is located in the Barraba War Memorial Hall.
