This roll of honour is located in the Nandewar Historical Society Museum in Barraba.

At the time, Clifton's Ltd operated a motor garage in the town as well as a motorcar service between Barraba, Manilla and Tamworth. Each of the employees served in World War I and a roll of honour was created to reflect that service. D V Clifton was the governing director, Laurie Clifton the secretary, and the drivers Arthur Halloran, Fred Darcy, Oscar Ashford, Harry Dengate, and Fred and Gordon Sherwood.
