Bingara War Memorial Baths Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Bingara War Memorial Baths and Splash Pool were originally established in 1964 and later upgraded in 2020. Many memorial pools such as this were established throughout the North Western Region of New South Wales after the Second World War. The Bingara War Memorial Baths were created as a result of a relationship between a local memorial committee, State Government, Local Government and public support, each of these sources contributed funds towards the building of the baths. In 2020 the complex was re-developed as the result of project funding by the NSW Government in association with the Gwydir Shire Council. It now includes a 25 metre swimming pool, a splash program pool, a bucket, an area for toddlers, a new kiosk and entrance area, new gardens, new fencing and sandstone blocks at the front of the building. The front of the complex features a large blue Aboriginal mural across the glass doors. Inscription Building Sign BINGARA War Memorial Baths est 1964 upgraded 2020.
