Description / Background

The memorial is a timber honor roll, displayed within a glass-fronted timber cabinet. The inscription and names of those who served in the First World War are painted on the board in gold. Six of the 20 who enlisted did not return. Their names are marked with a cross.

The roll is positioned alongside a matching Bungarby and District Second World War Honor Roll. Both boards have been recently restored to preserve them for future generations.

The memorial is located inside the Bungarby Memorial Hall, where services are held on and around Anzac Day and Remembrance Day. Access to the memorial is by appointment/tour.
