Description / Background

Canobolas Memorial Park was dedicated in memory of three local men who died on service during the Second World War. Arthur L Plowman, Russell E West and Brian J West all attended Canobolas Public School growing up, which is located directly across the road from the park. A bushrock memorial is also located within the park, bearing their names. 

The park was dedicated on 26 September 1964 by Mr Claude Spencer, President of Orange RSL sub-Branch.
