Description / Background

The memorial is a double-sided interpretative panel outlining the history of the Korean War and Australia's role in the conflict. It includes historical information, maps and archival photographs. It is a metal panel set within a wooden framework. The frame is mounted on metal brackets on a concrete footing.

It is one of four similar panels located on a walkway leading to the Gloucester Memorial Clock Tower. The other panels describe Australia's involvement in the First and Second World Wars and Vietnam.

The memorial is located in Gloucester Memorial Park, which is a venue for commemorative services.
