A single granite monolith set on three granite steps. The base of the monument has been squared with the names engraved and gilded on three of the four polished granite sides. The memorial was opened by the Governor of NSW Sir Walter Davidson on 21 November 1922.
The memorial is now located outside the Victoria Barracks on Oxford Street.
Note: AWM records show that AA Fitzhenry returned to Australia in February 1919 and was discharged medically unfit in April 1919. AWM records show only V Hayden as returning to Australia in January 1920AWM records have no J R Leneham as being killed.
