Timber and iron church with a full cedar interior, built onland donated by William and Selina Goard as a memorial to their son, Arthur Beaumont Goard killed near Ypres on 4 October 1917. Arthur left a bequest of 50 pounds in his will tocommence the building of the church in his home community, Brioken Head, the community raised the funds, drew the plans and built the church. 3 local families, Goard,Flick and Kimpton who all lost sons in WW1 donated the altar, lectern and font in their memory. The church was dedicated to the memory of the 3 local soldiers in1922.
