Description / Background

This memorial plaque is attached to the front wall of the Tamworth War Memorial Hall. It is made of bronze and features the emblem of the Returned and Services League of Australia at the top.

The memorial is dedicated to all those who have served. It was unveiled by Sir William Vines, AC, CMG, on 11 December 1998, to mark the 80th anniversary of Remembrance Day.
