Description / Background

Opened in 1966 by Sir Roden Cutler, Temora Memorial Town Hall serves as a memorial for the men and women who served in the Armed Forces during the Second World War. It was upgraded in 2019 to include new sound and lighting systems, the construction of an accessible foyer, accessible toilets, functional outdoor space, new roof and main hall refurbishment. It is a popular and versatile venue, hosting musical events, school productions, formal balls and sporting presentations.

The facility also houses the Temora Town Hall Theatre, a multi purpose entertainment venue that can cater for live performances, cinema, small functions, exhibitions and conferences. The theatre is housed in the former Temora Library, which was relocated.
