Description / Background

The Warialda War Memorial Olympic Pool was constructed in memory of Australians who have served their country. A plaque located within the entrance lists individuals and organisations who contributed a total of $30,500 for construction of the pool.

The pool was officially opened by The Hon Davis Hughes MLA, Minister for Public Works on Saturday 12 October 1968.
