Erica Eurell joins her mother Joyce Frater and Jackie McDonald, to talk about Joyce’s Great Uncle Curtis who served in World War 1, in either the infantry or light horse.
Records show that Curtis was in and out of hospital with TB during his service, and he was sent home from Egypt in 1917 very sick with TB.
Joyce was too young to meet her Great Uncle Curtis but remembers a photo of him that was prominent in her house growing up.
