Description: 

Impressive sculptural water fountain, consisting of three tiered pools, and dandelion shaped fountain at the top. LocatedĀ at the entrance to the Fitzroy Gardens on the corner of Darlingurst Road and Macleay Street.

Designed by Australian architect, Bob Woodward.

This fountain was erected in commemoration

of

the deeds of the ninth division, Australian Imperial Forces

in World War II

the council of the City of Sydney

and placed in operation by

the right honourable the Lord Mayor of Sydney
