This memorial is one of the three components of the Memorial Park War Memorials. It is a stone obelisk engraved with the names of World War 1 veterans from the Meadowbank and West Ryde areas, set on three stone steps and enclosed by a small sandstone, rosemary and privet edge.The park is adjacent to the Parramatta River near the Meadowbank ferry wharf.
