Description / Background

This memorial plaque is dedicated to Flight Sergeant Jack Dudley Wormald, who was killed in action in the Second World War. He was shot down on 15 February 1944, while serving in the Royal Australian Air Force. 

The plaque is attached to a low plinth and is located in a garden at Allison Playground in Dulwich Hill, the suburb where Wormald was born.

Aged 21 years.
