The board is mounted onto a wooden backing and has a classical style pediment at the top with the words 'LEADVILLE HONOUR ROLLL” printed inside it. The main section of the board consists of four wooden panels which lists the 85 names in alphabetical order. The two panels on the left are for the First World War veterans whilst the two panels on the right are for the Second World War. The names of those that were killed in action are indicated by a + symbol in front of their names. Mounted on the wall on either side of the board are lamps made in the shape of flaming torches. Mounted beneath the board are three memorial plaques dedicated to three men from the district who died during the Second World War. The Honour Roll was officially unveiled in the Leadville Memorial Hall on Anzac Day (25 April) 1953. It was unveiled as part of the Anzac Day service held at 11am by Dr Tunley following an address by the President of the Leadville RSL, Mr L. B. Bettington.
