A photo of Marcia BrowningMarcia Browning joined her mother Mary Browning and her sister Christine Morgan to talk about the World War 2 service of Mary’s husband Noel, who worked on barges delivering supplies to US ships in Borneo.

Marcia and Christine also speak about Noel’s uncle Sam Browning who served in World War 1, where he sustained lifelong injuries as a result of being gassed.

Mary and her daughters also mention Sam’s son Gordon who served in World War 2, and they share other stories about their family history.

The Brownings are very proud of their family’s history of service and participate in Anzac Day services every year.

Watch Marcia, Mary and Christine’s interview at the Tweed Heads Yarn Up.
