A photo of Mary BrowningMary Browning is joined by her daughters Christine Morgan and Marcia Browning to talk about the World War 2 service of Mary’s husband Noel, who worked on barges delivering supplies to US ships in Borneo.

Christine and Marcia also speak about Noel’s uncle Sam Browning who served in World War 1, where he sustained lifelong injuries as a result of being gassed.

Mary and her daughters also mention Sam’s son Gordon who served in World War 2, and they share other stories about their family history.

The Brownings are very proud of their family’s history of service and participate in Anzac Day services every year.

Watch Mary, Christine and Marcia’s interview at the Tweed Heads Yarn Up.
