Moss Vale High School War Memorial

Description

Brass plaque between two flag poles commemorating the opening of the school, as well as a marble plaque mounted on a granite block with flagpole commemorating the two Great wars and those who lost their lives.The School opening plaque is outside the Administrative building.The main war memorial is within the grounds of the school but visible from Young Road.

Inscription

The Australian National Flag, Union Jack And Flag Masts were presented to The Moss Vale High School at the official opening 7th August 1964 by Moss Vale Sub- Branch R.S.S. & A.I.L.A. C.V.ELLIS President
Moss Vale Services Club G.A.Smith President.

1914 -18 [Rising Sun Emblem] 1939 – 45
In memory of those who served their country in World Wars.
Erected by Moss Vale Sub-Branch R.S.S. & A.I.L.A. 1964
