Description

 

An area at the front of the club surrounded by a low sandstone brick wall with a rusticated trachyte obelisk in the centre. At the side there is a black iron stand with a clock.

Notes on Veteran Names: No records can be found for deceased veterans from this area with the following names: B Duke Young, D C Fleming, R C Lancaster, T A Hutchins, John Bateman. Their status codes have been left as KIA, as that is what is suggested by the memorial. All other status codes have been taken from information provided by the Australian War Memorial Roll Of Honour, the World War 2 Nominal Roll, and records in the National Archives of Australia. On the memorial, E F Perry-Circuitt is given as E E Circuitt, H E Mallard is given as H T Mallard, Wm Stephens is given as Wm Stevens, and Bert Vandenbergh is given as Bert Vanderbergh.
