Description / Background

This war memorial is a grove of trees, located alongside the Illawarra Highway near the intersection with Camaroo Lane in Moss Vale, NSW. Also on site is a bushrock memorial, with a metal plaque attached. It identifies the memorial as being dedicated to the servicemen and women who served in the Second World War and the Korean War. It was sponsored by The Australian Gas Light Company.  

This memorial forms part of the Remembrance Driveway, a living memorial that runs along the Hume and Federal Highways between Sydney and Canberra.
