2020 marks 75 years since the end of the Second World War. To commemorate this important year, the NSW Government is interviewing WWII veterans about their experiences. Read our 75th Anniversary Stories.
A large, carved dark wooden board on which three white marble plaques are attached. Veterans' names are engraved on the marble and blackened. Names are grouped according to the veterans' role in the hospital (e.g. nursing staff). A small Sydney Hospital badge is on the top of the middle plaque.
The memorial is located within Sydney Hospital.
