Description / Background

The memorial is a small granite obelisk with an inscribed dedication. It sits on a tiled platform inside a steel and wire fence enclosure.

The memorial is located at the entrance to the Bathurst Sheep and Cattle Drome in Heritage Park. The park property was an Army camp from 1940 until the end of the Second World War.
