The marble baptismal font is located inside the front of Bellingen Uniting Church, formerly Bellingen Methodist Church. An honour roll of three veterans from the First World War spans three sides of the font.

Notes on veterans' names:

  • Robert Douglas White was born in Bellingen, NSW and enlisted as a single tailor aged 19 years on 13 January 1916. As a private in the 56th Battalion, he died of wounds on 4 November 1916 and was buried in the Heilly Station Cemetery in Mericourty-L-Abbe, France.
  • Wesley Rainsford Hand was born in Christchurch, New Zealand and enlisted as a single motor driver aged 32 years on 18 May 1916. As a private in the 56th Battalion, he died of wounds on 2 September 1918 and was buried in the Fouquescourt British Cemetery, France.
  • Frederick Keith White was born in Bowraville, NSW and as a single car driver enlisted aged 18 years on 15 March 1917.  As a private in the 33rd Battalion, he died of wounds on 17 May 1918 at Villers-Bretonneux in France. He was buried in the Brighton Borough Cemetery in Sussex, England.
  • Their names are also listed on the Bellingen Methodist Church First and Second World War Memorial Gates, at the former Bellingen Methodist Church.
