The handwritten First World War roll of honour is set in a timber frame. It has decorative hand-drawn detail with a star and cross at the top with the Union Jack, the Australian flag and the Crown.

The memorial is located on the front eastern wall of St Margaret's Anglican Church in Bellingen. In early days, the community was known as Bellinger.
