Description

This roll of honour is a metal memorial constructed in Sydney by the Wunderlich Company. It features eucalyptus leaves at the top, with flags of England and Australia as well as attached names of those who served.

The roll of honour was unveiled in the Bonshaw Hall (later the Bonshaw Memorial Hall) on Friday, 27 September 1918. Mr W Gobbert occupied the chair and speeches were made by Messrs D M Sinclair, President of the Ashford Shire; Councillor George Phifer; and Mr W B Merry.

Mrs Fraser of Lagoon Flat, Bonshaw who had two sons killed in the action, unveiled the honour roll.
